If I could give it 0 stars, I would. My fiancé went to get his hair cut about an hour ago. He asked for a 2 on the sides and a 7 on the top. HIS HAIR IS F*CKED. When he saw it he said, “this is not what I asked for.” She says, “I accidentally didn’t switch to a longer guard.” So my fiancé is like I’m not paying for this since you’re the one that messed up. They told him he couldn’t leave until he paid. So he paid but didn’t give her a tip. DO NOT EVER GO HERE. They wouldn’t even admit they made a mistake and either discount him or something.

BEST PLACE TO COME FOR 90 MINUTE TO 2 HOUR WAIT - FOR A HAIRCUT. This is the 3rd or 4th time I’ve come here . I have finally realized their business model is structured deliberately to create an extreme sense of urgency for their male customers ( their primary targeted customer ) . On my first visit I was a walk-in and fortunate to not have to wait only around 30 minutes when Michelle took me. She asked me quickly how I wanted it cut I explained to her . She quickly cut my hair , very quickly in about 5-8 minutes, which was ok with as she seemed to do a pretty good job . I told her I wanted her to cut my hair regularly so I asked her how the app for advanced booking worked and she stated , “ I don’t know how it works- sorry “ after my next try to get her to cut my hair , I tried to use the app numerous times with no success. It finally worked and I set a preference for Michelle. First it said my wait tine would be an hour , then it went down to 45 minutes then back up to 90 minutes then over 2 hours . When I started , there 5-8 people in front of me . This number jumped up and down until I had over a 2 hour wait . Then it suddenly said my stylist will be ready in 30 minutes. I jumped in my car and within 5 minutes it said your stylist is now ready for you . I only live 5 minutes away and rushed over and ran in the door and she cut my hair - in about 5 minutes. When she was finishing up , she saw a walk-in coming in , she turned around to see if any other stylist saw him and said "I’m Michelle, I’ll be right with you" rushed me out of the chair and checked me out. I asked her , how is that fair - what about the people that are waiting on advanced booking on their app - she said if a walk-in comes in we take them first . Now I understood why my advanced booking went up and down and from 45 minutes to over 2 hours - it was because she was continually taking walk-Ins This morning they opened at 11:00 . Pulled up to the door at 10:30 . There was one person in his car waiting before me . I have back injuries so I can’t stand long . I sat in a chair by the business right next door to Sports Clips . When I turned around in about 15 minutes there were 10-12 men crowding the door to Sport Clips. I said I’ve been waiting here since 10:30 . Only one person said he was here waiting awhile everyone else seemed to ignore me as they were all trying to get in. Which is what this company wants to happen every day all day long - create an extreme sense of urgency every day. I have concluded this is why the app really doesn't work - they don't want it to work. They only want to have a line at the door continuously. I was surprised to see every stylist had someone in their chair , with a cape on and cutting their hair within 2 minute after the store supposedly opened. There is no way that all happened in less than 2 minutes. When I I asked the stylist- Kayla why the app wasn’t allowing me to book in advance even though I was there , she said “ it won’t work until 5 minutes after we open . So I waited until 5-8 minutes after and it still did not work. While Michelle did a pretty good job cutting my hair - she always seem to be rushing through my cut and out the door. She seemed more interested in getting me done and out than anything else. This morning Kayla took her time, asked me how I wanted it cut and took her time and gave me an excellent cut. The stylists are good but it is obvious they are fully aware of the environment that exists their. As I was leaving I noticed another stylist seeming to take pleasure in telling a new walk in there was at least a 90 minute wait. This was within less than 30 minutes after they opened. I will find a salon , where I can make an appointment. The price Sport Clips charges is not that much less than a regular salon . You may want to save yourself from the craziness of this haircut experience and go go somewhere else .

Our Online Check In system puts clients in a queue and helps approximate the best time to come in. Some days we are busy or slammed, some days we are not, either way we do try to give everyone a good experience. Michelle definitely fixed my review from last time I went here, one of the best haircuts I’ve had helped me get 3 numbers in one day! 🙌🏻😁
